Metal on metal hips

This is a very hot topic at the moment, and it’s likely that there will be a lot of press interest in the coming weeks. If you’ve got a metal on metal hip replacement or hip resurfacing, please bear in mind that the vast majority of them provide excellent long-term pain relief and good function. If you have any concerns about your hip, the best thing to do is to ask your surgeon for advice.
